My philosophy is simple: act as the conduit between the creative and business worlds to evoke a response in the viewer. How do I accomplish this on a consistent basis? By aligning myself with projects that speak to me creatively, surrounding myself with skilled technicians, and a surgical execution.

Analysing story structure, characters and narrative arc to understand the script, I like to run wild with the director and production designer in a project's infancy. Brainstorming tone, mood, and aesthetics defines the project for me, and I welcome the challenge of executing the vision within the budget, resources, and time as set by the producer.

I am constantly amazed to see a script come to life, working with the skilled and creative people in this business. By evoking an emotional response in the viewer through my lighting and camerawork, while remaining fiscally responsible to the producer, I truly am, living the dream.
